The short version: We collect the information needed to sell and ship you straps. We do not sell your data. We never see or store your card number, because Stripe handles payments. Email hexgrip@ockybody.com to ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted.
Who we are
This store is operated by Ockybody, a brand of Peoples Ventures LLC, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States. References to "we", "us" and "our" mean that business. For privacy questions, email hexgrip@ockybody.com.
What we collect
- Order information: your name, email address, shipping address and phone number. We need these to take payment and deliver your order.
- Order contents: which pack size you bought, the amount you paid, and the date of purchase.
- Communication: the contents of emails you send us.
Payment information
We do not receive or store your card number, expiry date or security code. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your card details are entered into fields operated by Stripe and are sent directly to Stripe. We receive only a confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with the last four digits of the card and the card brand, so we can help you identify a charge.

Why we collect it
- To process your payment and ship your order.
- To email you a receipt, a shipping confirmation and tracking information.
- To answer your questions and handle returns.
- To meet our legal and tax obligations.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary with the companies that help us run the store:
- Stripe, Inc. — payment processing.
- Shipping carriers (for example USPS) — to deliver your order. Carriers receive your name and delivery address.
- Google Workspace — email hosting for our support inbox.
- Our web host — serves this website and stores standard server logs.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies and analytics
This website is a single product page. It does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers. Stripe may set cookies during the payment process for fraud prevention and security, and those are governed by Stripe's own policy.
How long we keep it
- Order and payment records: kept for at least 7 years, because US tax and accounting rules require it.
- Support emails: kept up to 3 years after the matter is resolved.
- Server logs: kept by our web host on their standard retention schedule.
Your choices and rights
You can email hexgrip@ockybody.com at any time to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete your information, where we are not required to keep it for tax or legal reasons.
- Ask us to stop emailing you marketing messages. Order receipts and shipping notices are not marketing and will still be sent.
We will respond within 45 days. If you are a California resident, you have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing for you to opt out of on that front.
Children
This store is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Card data never touches our servers. We limit access to order information to the people who need it to fulfil orders.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
