On every heavy pull, your hands give out before your back does. These weightlifting straps take your hands out of it. A padded cuff locks to your wrist, and the hex-textured silicone grip wraps the bar and holds. Silicone grips the knurling where cotton slides. Wrist support and grip surface in one strap, so the last rep of a deadlift comes down to your back, not your fingers.
✓Hex-textured silicone grip over a woven nylon base, not bare woven cotton
✓Velcro cuff adjusts to any wrist. One size, nothing to pick
✓On and off without re-wrapping between sets
✓Deadlifts, rows, shrugs, pulldowns, curls, bench and more

What are they made of, and how do they work?+
Built for pulling work: deadlifts, rack pulls, barbell and dumbbell rows, pulldowns, pull-ups, shrugs and loaded carries. Cuff around the wrist, silicone tail flat down your palm, close your hand over the bar. It stays put between sets, so you are not re-wrapping one-handed while the clock runs.
Long enough to wrap a bar or handle twice, then lock under your thumb

You didn’t run out of strength. You ran out of hand.
The bar starts rolling to your fingertips on the last two reps, and the rest of the set is you fighting your hands instead of pulling. Those are the reps that build a back, and grip is what costs you them. Strap in and the limiter moves off your hands.

Where it earns its keep
Straps are a back tool, not a hand tool
On any pull, the weight has to travel through your hands to reach your back. When your grip is the part that fails, the set ends before your lats have done the work you came for. Straps take your hands out of the equation so the pull is limited by the muscle you are training.
Deadlifts and rack pullsHold the bar for the reps you planned instead of the reps your fingers allow.
Barbell and dumbbell rowsPull to your ribs and squeeze at the top without the bar creeping loose.
Pulldowns and pull-upsStay under tension long enough to feel the stretch at the bottom of every rep.
Shrugs and heavy carriesLoad the traps past what a bare grip will hold for time.
Use them on your heavy pulling sets. If you also want a stronger grip, keep a lighter set or two unstrapped.
Hex Grip on the bar

Watch it hold
Same bar, same knurling. The difference is what gets wrapped around it, and how it holds when the weight gets heavy.
Set up in three movesCuff on, tail flat down the palm, close your hand over the bar.
Holds through the setNo re-wrapping between reps. The strap stays where you put it while the clock runs.
Silicone on the knurlingHexagons tile edge to edge, so the grip face covers the bar with no gaps.
Built for pullsDeadlifts, rows, shrugs, pulldowns, pull-ups. One pair covers a back day.
Three reasons they stay in the bag
Nobody ever grew a back holding on for dear life
Grip is the first thing to go and the last thing you are trying to train. Twenty-five bucks takes it off the table for good.
Feel the squeeze, not the bar
Stop white-knuckling and start pulling. When you are not fighting to hold on, you can drive the elbow and squeeze at the top of every rep. That is the part that builds a back.
No chalk, no mess
Plenty of gyms ban chalk. These go in a pocket, come out dry, and grip the same on rep one and rep twelve. Nothing to clean up and nothing to explain to the front desk.
Works on everything you pull
Barbell, dumbbells, cable handles, machines, pull-up bar. One pair covers your whole back day, plus shrugs, curls and heavy carries when your hands would otherwise call it.

What lifters say
honestly these hex grip straps are a game changer. the one piece design means I dont have to mess around trying to loop things between sets. just strap in and lift. really solid material too definitely built for serious lifters who pull heavy. totally worth it.
Mike T. / Austin, TX
bought these a few weeks ago and they never leave my gym bag now. the hex grip actually works really well for heavy rows and shrugs. love that its just one solid piece cause my old standard straps were always fraying at the seams. best lifting straps ive owned hands down.
Andrew R. / Chicago, IL
if you do heavy deadlifts you need these right now. the hex grip really locks onto the bar and doesnt slip at all when my hands get super sweaty. the one piece design makes it so much faster to setup on the bar. wish I found these sooner cause my grip used to always give out before my legs did. highly recommend to anyone serious about lifting.

Why these lifting straps stand out
Every option in your gym bag works for someone. This is where HEX Grip sits against the flat cotton straps it replaces and the branded grips it functionally resembles.
Price ranges are public US listings observed September 2026. They move; treat them as a ballpark, not a promise.
